Every year in January the “Fiestas Sant Antoni” are held in the different municipalities of Mallorca. The day of Sant Antoni, patron saint of animals, is celebrated with bonfires. This is a spectacle of a special kind.
Around the bonfires are devils, giant figures and swell heads dancing. Also the music bands provide a special entertainment. The events take place on different days, depending on the village and municipality.
The different communities will announce the various dates for the festivities in advance.
