Here you will find important information on the topic of electricity connections in finca areas. There is no application for electricity supply in rural areas (finca area “suelo rustico”) possible. The law on sustainable environmental protection (Ley de sostenibilidad ambiental) has been in force since 2nd May 2019. This means that in rural areas it is no longer possible to apply for new public electricity connections, e.g. at Endesa. The electricity supply must be ensured via photovoltaic systems. This means that it is no longer possible to apply for public electricity connections in Finca areas.
Our opinion is that prices will rise for undeveloped plots that already have a connection!
